Chalklin Marcato Soft Timpani Mallets CH-MA-SO. The new Marcato Timpani Mallet range by Chalklin. Available in four models, these new timpani sticks offer the player exceptional definition and projection at an affordable price. Designed with a 28mm light wooden core, the Chalklin Marcato range are exquisitely made with traditional timpani felt and a perfect 10mm oriental cane handle. The staccato model uses a strong baize material whilst the hard, medium and medium soft models are constructed with progressively thicker timpani felt giving the player maximum flexibility. Each pair are attractively colour coded with cord at the top of the handle.
